About MCITD

The Mid-California International Trade District is a large-scale industrial development project being managed by Merced County.  The County is advancing a structured development and investment attraction program. The County anticipates that the project will evolve to become a complex public private partnership with several risk capital partners.

The MCITD is a project that is being designed to be notable to California, joining the State’s global logistics assets and substantial manufacturing supply chains to support investment in the competitive interior region of the State. Planned to accommodate over 8 million square feet of industrial development and 10,000 new jobs, the MCITD represents $1B in private investment.
